Principato di Lucedio grows its rice in the flood plains surrounding the Lucedio estate in the heart of Piemonte. The rice is harvested once a year in September; after a few months of drying and storage, the grains are husked only when orders are received to ensure its freshness. Riso ARBORIO Is named after the town of Arborio, in the Po Valley, where it is grown. When cooked, the rounded grains are firm, creamy, and chewy, due to its higher starch content; it blends well with other flavors, and It's used to make spectacular risotto alla 'Milanese'.
